Latin Sheet Music

(Miami, Florida USA) Recently, the Miami based Ritmo Caliente Del Caribe Orchestra & Dance Troupe was selected to perform at a party for HBO television executives. The upscale gala was held at the prestigious Boca Raton Hotel and Club in Palm Beach County, Florida. Ritmo performed a wide variety of tropical Latin cover tunes ranging from salsa, merengue, cha cha and mambo. Performing in tandem with Ritmo was Qool DJ Marv from New York City spinning some fantastic high energy top40 popular dance rhythms highlighting the music of the 70s & 80s. The guests were also treated to some fine hand-rolled Cuban style cigars.

Ritmo Caliente Del Caribe brought several colorful costumes including their newest orange and gold flashy rumbero attire. While most of the guests were non-Hispanics, all were enjoying the Latin grooves, dancing and having a great time. "If you're not sure on how to dance to the Latin beat, don't' worry", said Bobby Ramirez, band leader, saxophonist, flutist and lead vocalist. "Just let the rhythm take you and have a good time."

An intense performer and improviser on the saxophone and flute, Ramirez holds a firm command of the jazz language as well as capturing the pure essence of the old school Latin dance style on flute, drawing from a deep vocabulary of colorful sounds and rhythms.
